Joe Charron is a working class songwriter. From the factories to the farm, from the back alleys of the city to somewhere down a dirt road, Joe writes songs about everyday people…songs for the heart, songs from the heart. Country, folk, roots… whatever you want to call it these are the songs of joy and sorrow, of hard work and hard play. These are the stories of real people. These are songs that last. Joe has recorded four albums and was the creator and host of Canadian Songsmith, a Shaw Cable production.
Mahogany is Don Fraser, Patrick Jackman and Dave Lidstone. They were drawn together by their love of flatpicking and had considerable fun recording a collection of tunes. All three also sing and enjoy collecting songs, so expect their presentation of solid guitar picking to be punctuated with some fine singing.
